Diana is one of my automatic-buy authors, but this book has sat on my bookshelf with a bookmark sitting at page 4. I don't know if it's me who has moved on, or whether the event at the end of the previous book between Claire and Lord John ruined it for me. *shrugs*

I don't know either because I really enjoyed this book. Yes the "EVENT" at the end of Echo wasn't what I wanted to read but I also wanted to see how it was handled... also the thing with William.

And believe it or not the Bree and Roger part was really good.

Still haven't been able to get my hands on The Beast, have been having trouble finding it at a fair price.
