I Tweeted this morning about how I am stunned by my own emotional reaction to the news that former WABC DJ Ron Lundy has passed away. It forces me to remember the joyful bliss of listening to the corny AM DJ's on WABC, playing the hits. Beatles, Stones, Beachboys, Jefferson Airplane, Mama & Papas. Yeah. Radio was a daily addiction. It was company.

Thank you for writing this. I'm so with you here, in terms of what radio was and what music still means to me. I think we still have Cousin Brucie. I don't want to think about how I will feel when he goes (which I hope won't be any time soon).
