It's after 6pm in Australia and no earthquakes, ascending of the good and just.... So no rapture happening here. :-)

That could be the reason... I'll have to wait til 6 o'clock hits a less heathen ridden land for confirmation.

Did you hear the story about some enterprising souls here who are guaranteeing, for a mere $140, that they will look after raptured people's pets? The rapturees pay up front, of course, but the people only have to take care of the pets if the rapture actually occurs.
