geez, this was so dark and twisted and incredibly hot. I especially loved the imagery of Kara walking up to his bedroom in the sheet as if it was a twisted wedding gown. The sexual tension was amazing and I didn't expect Leoben to be able to hold his own, you could feel Kara's terror that she was bonding with him emotionally and her desperation to fight it.

This pairing is such a guilty pleasure. Thanks for sharing your great fic!

Dark, hot(!) and angsty.
I was impressed that Leoben was actually able to take back control and it made an interesting twist.

Wow. Just plain wow. This was amazingly intense and I bet exactly what happened during Kara's imprisonment. (or something awfully close.)

I love this ~

There is some intense satisfaction she gets from sinking something piercing and sharp into his body. In fact, the intensity of her enjoyment is almost sexual; she can't stop herself from getting up and straddling him, just like she had the other night, violating his body just as he'd violated hers. When she touches herself that night, furtively beneath the sheet he's so thoughtfully replaced, she's not sure what memory makes her come; his hand between her legs, or how it had felt to kill him.

She's not sure there's a difference, and that makes her desperate to escape. Kara does not like the person she is becoming in this prison he calls a home.

That is awesome and expresses so well how she got to be in the place she was when she was rescued. So dark and twisted inside.

I don't like Kara/Leoben as a pairing but it is interesting to watch how he manipulates her and how she attempts to manipulate him. It's a very twisted, sick relationship but one that's positively mesmerizing. :)
