Oh, man, this is just fantastic. Great Jenny voice and giving her these motives makes her a LOT more interesting, if not entirely sympathetic.

Thank you! Yeah, Jenny is a character that, while I understand her motives and remember being that age (uh, kind of, haha), still kind of drives me nuts. But this was fun to write, and thank you very much for reading!!

I really, really, really loved this. It was great, and it was a lovely and convincing interpretation of what's been going on inside Jenny's head over the course of her arc. :)

I have never seen this show ... although now I suspect I shall give it a try ... and so I really don't know these characters. And guess what, it doesn't matter. I love the rhythm of the words. The gay thought pause retraction ... or distraction. I love the interlocking images that move forward even as you feel the earlier image ... the quiz motif. (Do we get to say motif when we talk about fanfic?) Plus I laughed ... it's always good when I laugh.

Your Jenny voice is spot on, and I have to admit, I kind of sympathise with her desire to kiss Blair (because come on. who wouldn't?).

I really enjoyed Jenny's excuses for why she can't stop watching Blair, and then for why she wants to kiss her and the end section was so deliciously bitter. To be honest, though, I never bought into Jenny's queen bee attitude, because she couldn't quite pull it off. She always seemed to have that WWBD bracelet on, you know? She's... the girl who thinks of the perfect retort the moment the other person has left the room, whereas Blair, Blair *is* the perfect retort.

Mm, great fic, and I would *lovelovelove* to read more Jenny/Blair from you.

Oh, those scary teenage years, how I do not miss them. I think that the fact that this has given me a squirmy feeling in my stomach is a terrific credit to your writing ability - how well you've captured that intense focus and desperate need to understand everything you feel. I love the way that Jenny chooses to translate her attraction to Blair as "I want to be her", and not "I want to be with her". And the way that she tries to overwrite what her mind is telling her with the proper things a girl ought to be thinking. *shivers*
