*squeal* LOVE THIS. It's songfic! Sort of! It's songficish! Also? Scott/garage = OTP.

In the glow of the light, Rogue's face looks different. Older, slightly mocking. She gives a soft laugh.

And this whole part is great. That little bit of harshness and cruelty that isn't hers, but is in her, anyway. Love it.

That bit Kristin quoted, that is my favorite bit, too. I love how everyone in fandom tries to work out how exactly Rogue's power affects her. I mean, no one really spends that much time trying to figure out how telekinesis works, or Kitty's phasing (um, except me, I spend that much time thinking about the phasing) but everyone LOVES to play with the lingering aftereffects of Rogue's personality theft.

I love this, how the personality ghosts over her face . . .

It's Schrodinger's equation? Right? Kitty can a)somehow instinctively "read" the equation on a molecular level and b)polarize her particles in line with the areas of least probability from the equation.

Not that that's realistic biologically, but at least it is in terms of physics.

Nice story. And not just because All I want is You was my favorite song off that album, too. I do like the idea that Rogue is haunted by the ghosts in her head, and I thought Scott's reaction to the word Alkali coming out of Rogue's mouth was interesting and realistic.

Utterly beautiful. I really like the way that Scott couldn't get Jean out of his head, even though she's not IN his head anymore. I like that he compared everything he did to what she might have done.

But I LOVED the way Rogue suddenly reminded him of Magneto and the way that drove everything else from his head in a flash. VERY creepy and great use of the prompt ghosts, too.

I also like the way this ended. Everything isn't all fine and dandy. It's as crappy as it was when they started, but at least they have a sense of comraderie about it now.

I also really liked that Magneto drove Rogue to the garage, because of the metal. Very interesting idea.

Great job! Great fic. :)
