Got out of the house this morning. Went n saw Dave the Wrecker, who had just finished refitting his worked 1.6L twin cam motor into his third rally Corolla. This one is red, with a full cage and numbers painted. If he's lucky, this one might last more than 4 races ( Read more... )

Expos are what CC call organised group explorations. Lol, its a 'tradition' that started back in 1986. This time we did 4 drains (Batcave, Extension, Ephemeris and Swoo) with 18 ppl, 6 of whom where newbies, so it worked out well.

Oh okay. I wasn't sure if it was limited to exploring since you were talking about cars and stuff in the beginning. I think people everywhere do that nowadays, but ours are more of a 'go to a location, eat some food and drink a little'. Either way, group exploring can be pretty fun don't ya know.

Ahh, yeah lol, the cars n the expo were unrelated, just kinda got them bundled together. Its not really different to you lot in MSP. We often hasve spontaneous expos, where a bunch of us'll go out. Alongside these are a lot of organised expos that are publicised on the website. While not spontaneous, they can be lotsa fun just cos of the sheer numbers. Back in the day we were getting expos of up to 50 ppl. Beleive it or not, but numbers that great alleviate the threat from security gaurds, lol.
