The first picture is the cover of the Pink Floyd Album 'Animals'. To quote Wikipedia ( ... )

If I remember right, in 'Children of Men' the Battersea served as headquarters for the ministry of arts or some such, where they kept all the artwork deemed worth saving. I remember having a good laugh when I saw the pig. It's in quite a few subsequent scenes, and I think they have it hovering outside, clearly visible through some giant windows.

Yeah thats it. I was stoked when i saw it, cos the viewpoint out thru the giant windows is exactly the same as thre one in this picture. As it goes, its a lot harder to climb the chimnies at the other side...

The Battersea also made an appearance in the TV show Lost. Season 1, I think.

Yeah i noticed it in 'Monty Pythons The Meaning of Life' the other day, as well as an episode of 'Lexx' and the 1984 version of '1984'. Need to find a foilm or tv show thast was filmed inside it. Ive never even seen pics of the inside (before it was ruined), n the fuckin thing has sat abandoned since 1981.
