OMGOMGOMG!!! I want to fly to Australia right now and just snuggle that tiny kitten for a week!
Can you give him an iron supplement? Maybe a liquid one (I used to take one for anemia)? Or some blood (a butcher should hook you up)?
I can't bear the thought of a kitten dying, and hearing anemia from a vet scares the hell out of me. (It was the best guess diagnosis from one of the 3 vets who saw my dog before he died suddenly at only 2 years old.)
Now then Folks, surely all you people who know the wonderful speciman that Jim A has turned out to be could not for a second doubt his mums ability to make yet another miracle !!! Puss has passed the --will he die on me? stage and has entered the - yes he will live one. He is still very very weak and skinny as a stick insect but he is definately a wee fighter and of course having me for his ma helps.
Good food forced down his reluctant gullet- a couple of bolis needles just under his skin - worming - de fleeing and a high iron supplement along with a very cosy bed and he will be like a normal kitten very soon. Ah we are so bloody smart us Alstons!!Gone yer self and up with the goodies!!!!
