Not dead.

So...much...fieldwork... It's eating my life up.

I have so much art stuff to scan in, and like no time at all to do so.

Also, I am so far in at GWU, UTSA, UWM, and of course University of New Mexico.

Waiting to hear back from Vanderbilt and LSU.

Haven't been rejected yet. Even though I already know where I'm going, that's a good feeling :)

Congrats!

What does your field work entail, out of curiosity? Much of my life is also currently dominated by field work, but I suspect it is of a vastly different nature than yours...

Survey, the occasional test pit, and documenting cultural material on USFS and BLM lands. Also, evading rattlesnakes, catching hornytoads, and making friends with coyotes.

Like, basically whenever one of the government agencies wants to put in hiking trails or something like that, they call us in to check and make sure they won't be bulldozing someone's ancestry, or some vastly significant archaeological site (of which there are MANY down here...). So, I get paid to hike in some of the most beautiful parts of NM, and find cool stuff.

What about you? Snakes, I'm guessing?

I'm glad you don't fail at life.

On another note, you should update more. Because I'm updating my blog again, and it's only fair for you to do the same. *nods* Kiss kiss, K.
