That is interesting about the theatre at your high school. There was a similar tale about mine. One of the theatre students died several years before I went there (I don't remember how, but she had a large stone dedicated to her near the ROTC building (it was between the theatre and ROTC).
The drama teacher swore up and down the theatre was haunted, but I never "felt" anything weird. I have no idea if ghosts are real or not.
oh wow, that is cool that she had a memorial. there's no memorial (that i found) for Milo. just that the story is passed down through the classes and any minor mishaps are attributed to him. i've never felt anything weird, either.
dunno if there's truth to this one but the funniest story i heard abt Milo was about ten years before i reached HS age--it was during a dress rehearsal, a specific spotlight wouldn't work. the students checked the wiring, the connections, etc. so they decided to test the circuit breakers. (the students had left the light booth for the breaker test for safety and all the stage lights were turned off for it whereas the auditorium lights were left on.)
when the breakers were turned back, auditorium lights came on AND that spotlight came on--right in Ma Parker's face. she yelled "MILO!!" at the (empty!) light booth. it turned off. students went up to the light booth to test everything and fire it back up. spotlight in perfect working order. lmao.
