Choices and changes

I've got something I need to think about. A couple months ago, I was down on the SF Peninsula (Silicon Valley, for those not in the know). While I was there, I visited the person who was, for all intents and purposes, my foster mother back when I was 15-16 years old. As long as you're not looking for new and zoomy (i.e. something you can haul around and type on that's reliable, but you're not going to play 3d games on it), I may have something you can use by September. I agree with sylphslider here, asking ... heh... Treebeard for that kind of loan wouldn't fly, and while having a car is convenient, I tend not to agree with the statement "the only thing worth paying for is convenience". When it comes down to steering or steak, rear axle or rent, and other alliterative comparisons, you're better off with the necessities. That being said, enough to pay off your credit card may work best - getting rid of that evil APR is a step in the right direction.
