Dude! That's so exciting; I might buy that today when I pick up a Spanish-English dictionary.

the characters in bloom are a lot more fleshed out than in PY -- i was disappointed with the way the dad situation was handled in PY, for sure. but i wasn't disappointed by anything in bloom. i totally dig books that make me want to throttle the heroines. *g*

I like your philosophy on underwear.

Thank you!

I developed it in my senior year of college, when my friend Megan and I would take long trips to Target just to walk around. She was this shambling, gangly butch girl, very easy to embarrass, and so I put a lot of things on my head while I was around her. Target has some of the best underwear for putting on your head, for the record. I bought a lot of underwear that year.

Target has a lot of good underwear, period. My underwear philosophy is more along the lines of "it will inevitably be seen, make it interesting". Also "cover your ass". Both of these directly stem from a SCA event where it was approximately 95F AT MIDNIGHT and pretty much all of North Oaken knew I was wearing neon green underpants.

very easy to embarrass
But she kept going back with you, so it was all in good fun. :D

Wherever we go there are gender crises. At this very moment, a woman is telling her daughter to "cross your legs because you are a girl."

It has been pointed out to me that this is limited to your smaller size bras. This brings me woe.

But more people watching Psych really brings me a lot of joy! It's a wonderful show, hilariously funny and goofy. I was talking to someone last night who watches that and Monk fairly regularly, and he agreed with me that while Monk is sometimes inconsistent, Psych is really remarkably well-written and performed. I hope you like it!
