no, someone posted a picture of a horde one in clothdiapering. I told her if she had an alliance one, I'd happily buy one! :)
lol I think I might have to ask her to make me a horde one, too. :)

GORGEOUS!

plz to be regaling me with all info you have about cloth diapering in italy? i know that you're probably in a place that kinda sorta mimics in the states, but washing machines/lack of dryers/detergents? halp? namely the detergent question cause i'm thoroughly screwed on that venture so far.

also what kinds do you use? OO DO TELL! my stash which should arrive in a week along w/ my mom is made up of: prefolds (2 dz infant chinese, 1 dz infant indian, 2 dz premium chinese, 1 dz premium indian), 4 bummis super whisper wraps (2 NB, 2 SM), 4 bummis superbrite wraps (2 NB, 2 SM), 4 thirsties wraps (2 XS, 2 SM), 2 imse vimse wraps (SM), 2 thirsties duos (size 1), 4 BG 3.0 OS, 2 fuzzibunz OS, 2 happy heiny's OS, 2 mommy's touch OS, 2 blueberry OS (snaps), 3 grobaby shell sets (2 aplix, 1 snap), 10 the pop-in OS (the ones i found in italy) and a bunch of random inserts apart from the ones that come with the diapers (GAD, kissaluvs, baby kicks joey bunz, imse vimse)....

i know, i know. well you know too right?

Yeah, where we are at mostly mimics the states. We do have a washing machine and a dryer, but the dryer doesn't work particularly well. :P ( ... )

we found them at a big toys r us type place called the toy center. you never know! you could look online i guess. they seem pretty cool, they're AI2s with snap in inserts that are color coded (for dorks like me who like that). 150 euro for 10. they're OS, so it's not bad if you ask me. the box came w/ a wet bag, 100 liners and 3 snap in (you wrap it around the original inner) nighttime doublers as well.

none of those soaps exist in italy :-( the only kind i've seen that is specifically for cloth diapers is tots bots potion which comes in bags of 1 kg for 7.50 euros :-( seems pricey to say the least....idk, i'm gonna troll some italian forums to see if i can find something else. they said not to use the marsiglia soap which is what the person at the naturasì store told me to get so lol, drawing board again. i wish i had access to a military base right now, i tell you what!

wow! that's not bad. I also keep thinking I want to try Kawaii diapers, I've heard good things and they're $100 for 10 OS pockets-- not bad!!
The BIGGEST thing with diaper detergent is that you want stuff that has as few perfumes, dyes, etc., as possible. I meant to go check the aisle when I was at the grocery yesterday, but I forgot! :P There should be some Italian kind that is is free of perfumes & dyes because a lot of people {like myself} are allergic to them. If you can find one without the enzymes or brighteners, even better!

awesome, right? :)

but oh, SEVERAL of the diapers you sent do fit her now, all the one-size ones do. :) there were like... 4 medium fuzzibuns that she's not *quite* into yet, but I don't think it'll be that long before she is! :)

:D Glad to hear! Like I wrote ages ago, I bought them last year because they fit Julie well enough with the intention of potty training her through the night and I don't even think we used all of 'em once before she was dry through the night o.O No complaints, but it just figures that as soon as I take steps to up the diapering in our lives she stops needing it.
