any convenient hotel to recommend? going w mom.... so will need hotel that is very near to mtr...

u might also want to consider a hotel with bus stop that's near to express coach to airport, if you're not taking airport express.

i stayed metropark wanchai last time. dunno what's the rate now. it's a personal preference but i like hk island better because of the tram. but mongkok area is nice too.

Prudential Hotel is quite good and it's above the MTR station in Mongkok. Given its location, the price is quite reasonable.

my first hkg was in prudential.

it is directly above jordan. ya is nice. ard $180plus per night.

was thinking of cheaper one. wont mind smaller.

5 nights paid by me only. hence want cheap cheap. haha!

Going there Dec. Staying at The Wesley. Let you know if good or not after. Scared though. Never try under $150 HK hotel before. But I think HK hotel in April shouldn't be so expensive. Try South Pacific in CWB or if you're feeling wealthy the W hotel in Kowloon station is mouth watering.

Prudential like what CK said is not bad but exp. Almost same price as Novotel in Wanchai.

South pacific isn't mouth watering, but its near CWB MTR.

i found mingle place on the wing for $580 for 5 nights. small room but nice location.
