It's time to embrace this depression

What is a "best friend"? To me it's someone you can confide in, they're always there for you when you need someone. They make you a priority. They look forward to and may even be eager to see or hear from you. Until recently I wondered why everytime I thought I had one of these suddenly it all seemed to change and they were no longer there like ( Read more... )

Joshers, however oppressed you feel, don't ever, ever, even consider the possibility of surrendering. However dark the environment surrounding you feels, don't forget that there is always something to brighten your day, always something to bring a smile to your face, always something to give you a reason to persevere, to look forward to tomorrow. However meaningless and hopeless this life feels, don't ever forget that everything happening serves a purpose: that is of establishing and deepening loving and concerned relationships with other human beings. You may feel as if you can't survive any longer, but don't; usually when one feels that way they're spending too much time in solitude. I suggest that you commit to spending as much time with your family as possible, however corny that may seem, simply on the basis that doing so, as my personal experience has shown, will heal the broken heart so. In order to feel as if you do have someone on whom you can emotionally rely, it is essential that you dedicate yourself to forging such a ( ... )

I don't so much have just one "best friend"... I'd consider several people my best friends. And I'm sure that you'd find that, too, among your Internet friends. A lot of people like you, Josh. :-)

Don't ever go the deleting-everthing-from-the-Internet route. I've been there. It's bad. You usually end up feeling worse than before, then coming back to the Internet, and feeling embarassed of your actions. Plus, you might end up regretting some of the stuff you delete.

Just hang in there, Josh m'love. :-) ♥

....perhaps this is all happening to you so that you "can" pray more. Prayer is a wonderful thing, and you should start trying to make it a part of your every day life.

Joshers, me love you long time. I know we've grown apart, but I don't want you thinking it's your fault. It's entirely mine. I'm a shitty friend. I admit it. I have a tendency to breeze in and out of people's lives. I don't mean to...it just sort of happens. So as far as you and I are concerned, it's totally me. I do love you though. I miss you and I miss our talks. ♥

Please don't give up on anything. We all care about you something fierce, lovah. Don't go leaving us behind ;) *hugs*
