Friday: There's nobody I'm very interested in on Friday. I think I'll just head down after work and wander around.

I've heard that The Mars Volta puts on one of the best shows of any band in existence today. If you get bored on Friday night, try checking them out. And if you like Allison Krauss, make sure you see Gillian Welch on Sunday. I'd also skip Silversun Pickups in favor of Neko Case, but that's just me. I've had a lot of friends rave about the show Tegan & Sara put on if you have some time to kill before the Foo Fighters.

Cool. I'll check out The Mars Volta if I can. I like Alison Krauss, but I'm a huge fan of Robert Plant. I don't know Neko Case, but since I'm not all that wild about Silversun maybe I will take your suggestion! A lot of it depends on what the people I'm hanging out with wanna do too. I'm sure it will be a good time either way. :)

I sure hope we can hook up at some point. I was sure there'd be a huge chunk of one day that Tim and I would just hang out in Austin, but I'm pretty excited about most of the weekend. I agree Friday is the least of it, but there's still some stuff I'd see. :)

Why must I be a huge SSPU fan and Neko Case fan at the same time? Life's not fair. You should check out Vampire Weekend. I can shoot that cd over to you sometime soon. What Made Milwaukee Famous is local and pretty good. And G. Love and Special Sauce. And Jenny Lewis. And and and

I have heard some WMMF, and they are pretty good. G Love & Special Sauce I know everyone loves, but I haven't really gotten into them. Are you going?
