Today has been a good day.

Siobhan told me THIS MORNING that she is going to be a mermaid. That's the first I heard of it, it was a lizard for the last THREE months. The Fall Festival is tonight. So me being the genius mom that I am, I found an Ariel costume for $10 and it's in my car right now. I <3 craigslist. I hope she's not expecting a tail,

I think it sounds yummy with the red pepper flakes, but I'll probably leave that part out so Siobhan can eat some too. She HATES peppers of any sort.

Same with Short Stuff. Which is funny, since she went through a phase of putting the pepper flakes at Italian places on everything she ate - and couldn't get enough of curries!

Wow, I think it's unusual that she ever liked them!

When Siobhan was 2 she picked a pepper off a plant at the farmer's market and ate it before we could stop her. Then she rubbed it in her eyes. Not fun!

Cool. I still have to find a pumpkin. We went to 3 different stores yesterday and they were all sold out!
