Best. Post. Ever. I LOVE everything about Act V, and it's probably the only fic in my more-than-a-decade long history of reading fics that I've pored over relentlessly and reread without skipping a single word for more than five times. Best thing is, I'm still entertained every time I reread it, and I've never even bothered to re-read Harry Potter which I enjoy. Man, I feel like flying to Australia to grovel at your feet now, and thank you so damn much for posting all those links!!! Act V works I never even knew existed that fans have created, its totally fanning my Act V obsession and I'm am going to read them all right away. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your story and that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This is so nostalgic, haha. I haven't read some of the new fics from other people, so I'll have to get on that now. I really hope you decide to revisit this 'verse in another long-fic!! ♥
Oooh, it's doubled on FFnet! But, as silly as it sounds, I like reading it on LJ more because I get to read everyone's comments and howling NOOOO!s at plot twists.
Hahah, that's true, we had some really amusing threads, didn't we? I'll have to go back and re-read them sometime. You just can't get that kind of discussion on FFnet. And I did wind up fixing the worst of the consistency errors here too, so you're not missing out on much.
Heh, I should be thanking you, it was actually your snippet that reminded me I really needed to collate all these links and make a home for them. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of what you write on that, it was shaping up to be interesting!
Heh, thank you. I still facepalm over my reading comprehension, must have been just picking out random key words or something. But hey, we did get Kunsel/Cloud fic out of it, however cliche. ;)
No, I didn't include that prompt because it wasn't set in the Fifth Act universe. I mean, I guess it could have been set before the start of it, but I wrote it with pre-canon days in mind, since it would have been before Genesis went to Wutai and Zack and Kunsel were newly promoted to Second Class.

Heh, thanks, but don't get your hopes up - you know me, flitting from fic to fic and fandom to fandom like an attention-deficit butterfly.

lol And even if 'It Works in the Movies' came from a mis-read prompt, it was still an awesome ficlet. <3
