I havn't read the story yet, but Promises To Keep is my favorite art by Acid, and I am very very happy that your new fic tell something about that moment!!!

As you'll see, it doesn't directly portray a specific moment from the story, (of course it's not a true illustration seeing as how it was done so long before the story) but it does include elements from several scenes in the one image.

I have started reading - it will be a quite long process for some reasons, but two first
pages is already very impressive and completely unexpected!!!

And your Russian readers already have told me that they expected to read this fic in my translation also, even though it will be not soon. They are ready to wait.
And now I confirm my wish to work with this fic too, if you and Acid permit me.

That is one kyuute birdie.

wanted to show you a recent snarky review of 1/2 pint prince but lj was all dossy and I lost track of the thing. Also saw a review of the whole storyline as a parable of calvinist predestination which was very bitter and too accurate.

Heh. What can I say, I feed hummingbirds year round. I have a weakness for kyuute birdiez.

Actually, I did read an essay which presented the HP storyline as Calvinism. I remember finding the arguments unfortunately persuasive. I'm afraid I can't remember where I read it though, which is damn annoying.

Probably the same article I read; it was disheartening to make the connection, although it makes absolutely perfect sense in the context of Ms. Rowling being raised in the highly Calvinist-flavored Presbyterian culture of Scotland.
