[Feast time! Welcome to South Ueno Park. The setting is lovely, with lots of greenery and flowers. There are paper lanterns hanging from tree branches as well as lengths of red and gold fabric draped around. There are two big, stylized tiger statues made of tiny yellow electric lights set up at each side of the entrance to the park, making the destination hard to miss. It's all holographic, so no worries about walking into something. It's a really pretty park, perfect for picnics, or say...a big buffet?

There is a wide selection of food spread out on long tables, draped in red tablecloths, most appearing to be Chinese entrees from some province or another, as well as deserts, alcohol, fresh fruit, and special holiday dishes. If it doesn't get eaten by the populace, it'll probably get eaten by the fauna. Tuck in and mingle.]

[Now he can't eat, but that's no reason Delta can't enjoy the experience of a feast. He's running back and forth on the tabletop, inspecting and analyzing various dishes. Feel free to ask him what he's doing!]

[There is a little Delta running around on the table! Which is quite amusing in a sense, but does bring up the question as to why. Shockwave just watches him for a moment before bringing up the very important question.]

[He halts next to a bowl of thousand-year eggs and looks up, nodding in greeting.]

[Little Big Akihabara is located in the center of Zone 10 - Katayama. A large shopping district normally, it is now decorated with thousands of red lanterns strung between the darkened buildings. Charms and ribbons sway gently in the breeze as the artificial sun fades into artificial night. It is now eight o'clock, and the show is about to start.]

[And Parker is more than ready. Fireworks? Yes please. She's sitting front and center, face turned upwards, waiting intently for the show to start and seemingly completely oblivious to everything going on around her.]

[Virgil puts his lips right next to her ear and lets out a quiet 'boo'. He left the house more out of boredom than any real desire to celebrate, though admittedly, hanging out with her would be a hell of a lot better than moping around the workshop with Nue.]

[Parker doesn't jump at the sound, or even turn to look at him. She just grins wider, still looking up at the sky.]

[It's been days since Samus first arrived, and boy is she not a happy camper. More like ripping up the tent, stomping on all the food, and screaming at the bears and deer. She's not used to being caged, see, and Sacrosanct is nothing but a big, shiny, and well-disguised cage. It doesn't help that the other captives are so complacent that they're throwing some sort of ... party. Celebrating their internment.

Or maybe she's pissed because no one invited her out.

She wanders the gardens, thinking, as she has been doing the past few days. She hasn't eaten, she hasn't slept, and although hunger and fatigue are things she has lived through before it wouldn't be much longer until she would have to change that. But that would be accepting defeat.

Her thoughts are suddenly interrupted as she's snapped out of them, watching something approach. Something big. She can't place it, obviously it is some sort of creature. However the mouth, the eyes, seem strange ... wrong. Even the movements are like some bizarre dance. But it looks pissed

Jamison headed out to the festival in an attempt to escape the strange not-quite-deja-vu feeling of being confronted at every turn by someone she knew, or would have known, in the Normandy quarters.

So the walk is nice, but then she hears gunfire. She draws her sidearm and rolls into cover, stuffing down the clamoring ghosts of Akuze with long practice, and peers out from behind a building, omnitool already whirring with hacking algorithms lying in wait. An armored figure, nothing familiar. She calls from behind the building, intonation military.]

What's the situation?

[Samus hears a voice and turns sharply, armcannon extended and ready to fire. Of course this is before she even registers what the voice says. Once a loner, always suspicious of others.

But the request is genuine. After all, Samus messed up on her judgment and fired. At nothing. It was embarrassing and foolish, and she should have suspected that others would hear. But what exactly is she supposed to say?]

... Misfire. Nothing to see.

[Jamison keeps her pistol out, but finger off the trigger as she moves around the corner. Trigger discipline is the most important thing the Alliance teaches about guns; forget it, and you're going to kill someone. She glances Samus over, posture calm.]
