[ It's been a long time since anyone asked him out to lunch and even longer since it was anywhere remotely so... green. Even when he went on dates with Nicole, it was often in the cold artificial halls of space stations, comforted only with simulations of how Earth used to be. He still isn't quite used to how much growth and wildlife there is on the station.
He... dresses nice for Tria. It's courtesy. It's nothing too fancy, but he doesn't come in a t-shirt or sweats. So he's combed his hair and has a nice, button up plaid shirt and jeans and he looks every bit nicer than he actually feels. The gloves and the familiar glow of the RIG seem almost out of place on the outfit.
He's awkward as he approaches her and his cheeks are red before he even raises a few fingers to wave. ]
[ Tria stands as soon as she sees Isaac approaching, a slightly shy smile already curling the corners of her mouth. It's always a little strange, meeting patients outside the office or medbay, but it's one of the few perks of her job.
She takes a few steps forward, holding out her hand in greeting. ]
Mister Clarke, I'm so glad you could make it.
[ It's good that he showed, at least. Many wouldn't have. On top of that, he looks better than he did the last time she saw him, and it bolsters her confidence. ]
[ Considering that Isaac was trying to treat this as a normal outing instead of a therapy session? That meant that his awkwardness was through the roof anyway. He falters a little when he realizes she was holding out her hand to shake, and he looks at it for a moment before awkwardly clasping it. His hand was probably sweaty and he turns pink when he realizes it. ]
[ She clasps his hand between both of hers for a moment, smiling despite the fact that yes, it's a little clammy. If it bothers her, it doesn't show. ]
Relax, alright?
[ She releases his hand then reaches up, lightly pressing the back of her hand against his cheek, and then his forehead, as if checking his temperature. Which is exactly what she's doing, really. ]
