The prospect of running around the woods with a strange alien girl was, at this point, a welcome distraction. He needed something, anything, to take his mind off the hole in his chest.

Not a literal hole, of course. Well, there was one of those too, but it was long sewn up.

Hell, it had been days, and it still... it wasn't pain, but it was emptiness. He'd woken that first day, made breakfast, and... no one had come to eat it. The eggs grew cold. And, well... he'd hoped at first that maybe Hanna had run off. Maybe even gotten himself killed - strange how a place where people could instantly return made that prospect less horrific.

Hanna...But he recognized that he could not mourn forever. So it was that he had decided to do what Hanna would - go out. Meet people. Perhaps solve a few problems. Surely looking for a little wildlife wouldn't hurt (though he had no intention of finding any bears whatsoever. Maybe some deer. No bears

Feferi wasn't sure exactly what to expect- dead guy wasn't particularly descriptive. Still, if the wave didn't give him away he appearance would have. Feferi had seen a dead body or two and there was a definite 'dead' vibe there.

"Hello!" Feferi waves with both her arms, hurrying over to officially meet the nameless guy. "Oh wow, I guess I shouldn't make any green around the gills jokes, huh?" She asks, laughing a little as she turns.

"Alright! You're our resident bear expert- uh, well I haven't thought of a name yet. But I will! Anyway, to the forest first, right?" She's looking at you mr. bear expert!

I know right :< I also think it'd be hilarious for him and fef to meet. TOO MUCH SQUEE.

"Well, insofar as I'm from the same planet as bears," he said. "And I'm sure you'll think of one."

The way she tossed about fish puns, it was probably going to be something like Ahab.

"Quite. To the forest."

"Well you know what they look like, so you're the expert!" Feferi answers cheerfully, tugging at his sleeve. "Come on, let's go then! Hurry, before they go to sleep!"

And she starts heading towards the woods, grinning brightly. "Say, how are you still moving and floundering around? I didn't know humans could do that kind of thing when they died-" She glances over at him curiously. "Or are you- er, were you not human?"
