What, your jerkoff boyfriend doesn't come equipped with room service?
[He's laying on the bed in a manner that suggests he flung himself across it and hasn't moved since. He doesn't even look at her as she comes into the room.
To say he feels betrayed? That's putting it mildly. So she's here a year? She doesn't even try to get back to him, and instead shacks up with some pendejo--
He knows it's not fair. He knows. But he also doesn't give a shit.]
[yeah she's just gonna take that as an invitation.
Sarah shuts the door behind her and walks over to the bed, setting the tray down on the bedside table before sitting on the edge of the mattress, looking down at John.]
Would you prefer if he'd brought it instead?
[Her tone is ironic rather than biting - she knows he's upset, and while she would have preferred it if he'd accepted York right away...well, she can't really feel too annoyed with him right now, either.]
[John tries to glare at her, but it doesn't last. It's hard to stay mad when it's just her.]
Naw.
[He sits up on the bed and makes a casual gesture, a sort of 'well you can sit down if you want but I'm too much of a tween boy to tell you so' motion.]
She smiles, looking more relaxed, and settles back farther onto the bed, nudging the tray closer. It looks and smells a thousand times more appetizing than anything Sarah had ever cooked, and it's also composed entirely of his favorite foods.]
