A hangover and waking up on a bench in Sacrosanct is probably a message on how one should not spend their time mourning. This, at least, Alejandro has learned.
One cold shower and a change of clothes later, and he legitimately still feels like crap, but at least he's clean and somewhat awake now. He still won't head back to Clarke's. He can't.
So instead, he wanders a bit in the garden zone, rubbing the back of his neck as he pauses and takes note of Rapunzel's campsite. Girl didn't need to live out here like this, but she does, like some sort of fairytale princess raveled in her innocence. It's sort of adorable, but it's par for the course with Rapunzel.
Yet, something doesn't seem quite right. Fortunately, Alejandro is better at handling other people's problems than his own.
"Hey," he calls out, trying to keep his tone down in order to not surprise her terribly.
She hadn't expected anyone out this way, so she did jump a little at the sound of Alejandro's voice, but nothing quite so dramatic as what Rapunzel was sometimes prone to when thoroughly startled. She turned and stood from where she sat, smiling when she saw the owner of the voice.
"Oh, hi!" She pushed her hair back behind her ears, attempting to push the dark thoughts of a moment ago away. "What're you doing out here?"
The forced cheerfulness deflated a little, though she tried to shrug it off for a second. She watched Alejandro take his seat, before settling back down where she'd been herself.
"It wasn't really what I was planning on painting."
She looked at the painting for a long moment, absently toying with lock of her hair, repetitively smoothing her hands down it. After a moment, she looked over at Alejandro, her brows knitted together.
"Did you leave anyone behind, when you came here?"
Out here he has finally allowed himself more freedom. Ever since he told the crew the truth about him, things had seemed so much easier. He still has problems, but they can always wait. Skyfire is more cheerful, and less worried about who knew what he was.
And being able to fly makes gathering his samples so much easier. Darting white and red through the trees and over the fields, glass container with soil samples, flora, butterflies and insects. He gathers what he can, but only what he needs. A complete analysis of the properties of this place is an undertaking, but it fills the spaces left by his actual duties to the Normandy crew, which he'd always place first and foremost.
It's only when his coat gets snagged on a branch that he ends up suspended, upside down, struggling to regain purchase. And someone directly below him...
Oh. What was someone doing... living? Living out here. That certainly looks like what she's doing.
"Uh-hh... hello there," The former Cybertronian greets her cheerfully, despite his position.
Rapunzel doesn't hear the rustling from above, she's so distracted, until there's a voice, and she jumps, nearly spilling her paint everywhere. After a second of flailing, she looks upwards, tilting her head to the side with a look on her face that's equal parts surprised and confused.
It looked like it was someone stuck in the tree? How did he get up there? She thought for a second about asking, before standing up, mentally judging the distance between the ground and the branches up where he was hanging.
"Um," The former shuttle answers, taking a moment to assure that yes, indeed he is stuck. After an awkward struggle, he pauses.
"I think so? Hold on..." More struggling. He'd rather not tear his coat... or break a whole branch off the tree, but something's got to give, and the delicate approach just isn't doing it.
"Uhhh... I think I've got it-" He clearly doesn't.
She blows her bangs up, thinking for a second, before gathering a loop of her hair.
"Hold on, I'll help you down." She tosses her hair up into the tree, catching the end that falls back down after it looped over a nearby branch. After looping another part of her hair around her waist she quickly pulls herself up the tree, balancing carefully once she reached her branch.
She grabs a higher branch to keep herself supported as she tries to move closer, pulling up a loop of her hair as she moves.
"Grab this and wrap it around your waist. I'll pull you up a little and with some luck you'll slip off without falling." Between years of pulling her Mother up and down the tower, and her adventure with Eugene, she figures she can lift this guy no problem.

He sits himself down on a rock not far from the long-haired woman. ...Very, very long-haired. Alejandro glances at her painting.
"A little less cheerful than I'd expect of you," he comments lightly. If she wants to talk about it, that's her option.
