No wonder you speak English, then! I've been raised with Common, but I think some of the lower-level Earth inhabitants speak some descendant form of English. It's hardly comparable though, from the records we still have!

Maybe I'm being a little forward but do you think I could interview you and do some research, if I can find a way to bypass the translation software these thingamajigs impose on every conversation?

Oh my gosh, I'd love to study that. I mean, I'm not much of a linguist per se but it is part of my job and deviant forms of the language fascinate me. Or, well, I suppose a descendant form!

[Jin always remembers his dreams, or at least the significant parts. Dragon dreams are always pretty mixed up and chaotic even for the dragon itself, so it's hard to comb through the mess. They end up settling on the pieces that left strong impressions.]

It made sense to me. I mean, it was... I can usually bend the dreamscape, and that I couldn't do a thing with, but it was... beautiful, I thought.

My teacher was also a sentinel, and she did explain it to me, but I... have to agree that I don't agree with them at all. Apparently, a long time ago Dreamwalkers would use their abilities for dangerous purposes. As long as we're not taught to use them it's usually alright; the ones that awaken on their own are the unstable ones, generally insane.
