So, how much of this is true?

[Gibson really, really doesn't think he can handle actually talking right now, so he'll be sticking to text for a while.]

[Once he noticed the other conversations that Tron had, he knew this was coming.]

It is correct. Absent details.

Radia derezzed by Abraxas, on Clu's orders. Suspect he would have rather infected her.
Confirmed that they continue to work together now in some capacity.

[You know. Just want to cover everything.]

Yeah, just derezzing her doesn't really seem like Abraxas' style. [NOT THAT HE'S BITTER OR ANGRY OR ANYTHING.]

Of course they're working together still. Do we have any idea how yet, or is it just general encouragement, etc.?

I have only witnessed general encouragement and plot suggestions.

[Transferring document Clu-Abraxas(1-17).avi Accept y/n?]

They are not attempting to hide it.

And I thought my encryptions were bad.

Are they always that subtle? Because if they are, this might be easier than we thought.

Abraxas has filtered messages to me in the past. Beyond that, unknown.

[Though he hopes they're just that dumb. Even if he's pretty sure they aren't.]

And I guess we shouldn't just assume they're that stupid... but come on, the comm's security settings aren't that hard to figure out.

Assume they wished to make me worry. Stress my processors.

Or perhaps they do not wish to bother with subtlety.

I'm not sure about CLU, but subtlety doesn't really seem like it's Abraxas' style either.

[Come on. He wears a cloak of villainy. He's not aiming for subtlety here.]

[Admittedly it's a very cool cloak of villainy.]

Negative. Also, based on previous statements, he prefers to allow targets to become afraid of what they know is coming.

[Which has, with some things, unfortunately worked on Anon.]

[Oh, Anon. >: Don't give in to the fear! That's just what he wants you to do!]

Isn't it more effective when you have the element of surprise, though?

Not that I mind him being less effective. It just seems kind of counter-intuitive to me.

[He won't! You know, he's just... slightly terrified that Abraxas has a point about what he'll do if he's infected.]

Potentially is. Unknown if he actually benefits from terrorizing targets before infecting or derezzing them. However, previous experience suggests that fear makes targets sloppy when they feel they have no chance to stop their opponent.

[Gibson is reasonably sure you won't hurt the Users, Anon, even if you get infected. (He's not quite as sure about his own safety, but hey... if the Flynns and Dillinger are still alive, at least you'll get fixed eventually.)]

Point.

Looks like he wins either way, doesn't it? [Look at him not say anything about that "previous experience" comment, Anon. He's so tactful.]

[Anon can only hope so. If there's any reason for him to fight it... (Very true. He'd still feel bad forever for going after you, though.)]

He will try to win, anyway. I am not so easy to terrorize, and he will not infect those here. [Anon would probably not elaborate on it. He's just like that.]

[Take a lesson from Gibson: apparently you can manage to fight it most of the way off through sheer stubbornness. (Gibson'll only hold a grudge if he doesn't come back after getting derezzed. Everything else is no big deal.)]

Can he even infect most of the Users here? I haven't exactly seen the usual hordes of infected yet, but maybe that's just because this place is so empty. [Seriously, it's starting to creep Gibson out a little bit... well, on top of the other weirdness here.]

[Anon will do his best to do so. Infection craziness is a big load of Do Not Want. (But he'll still feel bad. He doesn't like being awful to his friends. Even if he's doing it under the influence.)]

Unknown. I have been attempting to keep him from trying. [An ounce of prevention, blah blah blah.] Is rather empty. I do not know why. No opportunity to ask.
