[and there is an even longer pause as Sollux takes in the significance of the other two's words. when he speaks, he sounds shocked, almost betrayed.]

[Eridan grips onto the wand that had done so much damage in so little time. It began to flicker and slowly radiated that sinister white energy yet again. All the audio can pick up is a sharp crackling.]
