What is the reason as to why your clothes seem to be varied so greatly? There seems to be no productive use other then for visual appeal.

Will they be protective during battle?

And hell no! That's what my power armor is for! These aren't for battle, they're for looking good!

It does not seem practical to go about without clothes that are to protect you though.

Does your race do this as a tactic to give off the false air that they are unarmed? I can imagine that it would easy to trick one into thinking you are harmless while having back-up.

I can not fathom otherwise why this is appropriate...

...Well, I guess so... I've been practically living in my power armor for a long time now, though, so it's nice to get out of it every once in a while!

Well, I got stuck in the teleporter a little while ago... and that thing's all messed up! It can cause mutations and stuff!! So, I kinda got stuck in a girl's body for a while...

So, I needed clothes! And now that I'm better, I'm passing my glorious taste on to anyone else who's in need of sprucing up their closet!
