Suppose it does, at that. But naming can be important to the individual being named, too. Ones recieved could be insults as often as compliments, and some take a certain amount of pride in being able t'name themselves, rather than having a name thrust upon them.

I have been re-designated and re-purposed too many times to put much stock in that kind of pride. At this point, one name is as good as the next.

Always has been. It is who I am and was. Even if things've changed radically between then and now.

I am grateful to see Shockwave again in the company of his own kind. He was quite upset after the disappearance of one of his companions.

So I'd noticed, though 'upset' seems like something of an understatement. As f'r his own kind, well. I'm no metahuman.

And the factions don't always translate the same from stream to stream.

I must admit my ignorance of the finer details. At any given moment we have so very many otherworld feuds, they become difficult to track.

The feuds of our dimensions are our own; I've nothing against those that belong to my opposite faction if they're from a different stream.
I'd thank you not to try outting me to the rest of the station, however. I'm not here to have organics jump to wild conclusions about me based on what I am.

My faction is. I've known my fair share of organics and figure if they're strong enough, they at least deserve the chance to prove themselves.
