It's 84 degrees outside, but the humidity is 42 percent, so it feels like 74 here. I'm spending my Saturday at my dining room table -- which is dripping with ribbons and beads in scarlet and silver, emerald and gold -- making Christmas ornaments. I've done the yardwork I'd resolved to do today, watched a couple of episodes of House, and done grocery shoppping. Now I'm watching Show Jumping competition on the Ceeb (the advantages of being a border city!), so life is good.

Woke up, read the paper, poked around on the internet and took a shower. Then I let the cicadas serenade me into a lovely nap. Sure, I'm getting absolutely nothing done, but sometimes you need days like that.

Oooo, I must get my Christmas ornaments done. They're partially done, but I have a whole bag of craft materials to add to them here. Been too caught up in my cross-stitch and loom knitting.

Reading quickly I read that as YOU were 'dripping with ribbons ...' and thought how pretty you must be!

Saturday I went to Borders where Shaina had a 40% off coupon for DVD boxed sets ... and found NOTHING I wanted. (They didn't have any Dr. Who DVD sets or anything else I couldn't live without that I didn't already owned.) Then I went home and began a 36 hour migraine.
