I agree with this guy. If she wanted a gay character (and since it isn't opinion, it is her creation), she should have just put it out there. To do this now means one of two things: She isn't that good of a writer and couldn't figure it out OR she's a cop-out who gave in to editorial pressure and wants to now be a revisionist (much like Lucas became).
