Stardust looks pretty kickass... I'll have to check that out.

Plus, I've recently decided I'll be reading the HP books... so I'll go see this at some point, as well.

Stardust is his first work of Fiction that I have read. Previously I had read his book/bio about Douglas Adams & the HHGTTGalaxy series - a creative non-fiction piece that was really informative and really well-written.

As far as reading had been going, college had me slowing down & struggling through the rest of the "Star Wars: NJO" saga, and having been stuck back in "Star By Star" for ages with no realistic hope of getting through the (what is is up to now... 15?) rest of the books I was behind in, I really had given up on reading for enjoyment.

And then, while in a book store, I decided to force myself to buy something new & try it out. So I did. I bought "Stardust". (I usually only read scifi.. none of that fantasy shtuff...)

And I discovered that it wasn't that I didn't like reading anymore.... it was the fact that I hadn't been reading the write authors or books :) it was a wonderfully refreshing personal discovery. :)
