does tnat symbol for the luckenbooth pin mean anything?

A luckenbooth means the same thing as a claddagh; the difference is the slightly altered look, and that the luckenbooth is Scottish, while the claddagh is Irish... but both are of Celtic culture. :)

I think that the pin is just a bit more stylized than other luckenbooth, but if you look around, you'll see a variety of styles for sure - while the claddaghs tend to usually have a very similar look... If the pin's design is significant beyond that, I don't know.
