This is just absolutely perfect. Your characterizations are amazing. I especially love Jim's attempt at silent communication and Spock's unexpected fascination with "the cadet." And how Spock saving Jim from an untimely death on the stairs is "nothing very dramatic."

And since you offered...could I have one from the Stars and Planets 'verse with either Jim's or Spock's parents? Either a meet the parents scene, or Jim's thoughts on why Spock doesn't want him to meet his dad. If you have the time. Thanks so much!
