thank you so much for this - you really don't have to apologize at all! you were doing me a favour, writing something i requested and you have no idea how much this cheered me up - my week's been awful and this has been such a pure delight - and you don't have to write me anything else unless you really want to, or have the time to.

i'm not fussy - this fic was lovely enough :)

And well, that may very well be true, but I do like to TRY and keep my promises *grin* so I'm still dreadfully sorry it took so long. <3 And I'm so sorry to hear you've had an awful week--it only makes me more determined to write you something else as payment for making you wait! Nyota bites back a laugh. "Spock, it's one M&M. Pretty sure you'll survive," she teases, crinkling the package loudly, and knowing he'll take one. "C'mon, we both know you can't resist chocolate in any form. Give up the charade."

The corner of his mouth twitches, and he turns those smooth, dark eyes on her. Her stomach swoops, and her breath flutters in her lungs.

He smiles, fond and fucking familiar, and her whole body goes warm.

"Vile temptress," he says mildly, and holds out a casual, cupped hand. That little smile still turning up the sides of his mouth.
