I'm sure MMD Cup is making a concerted effort to devalue Kaito's birthday celebrations - this isn't the first time it's dumped itself right on the mid-February weekend, and as expected it's basically taken over the rankings for most of the week, making it pretty hard to get much in the way of new releases in. The roundup will be in a couple days,

Yesss that Scatman one, Rin & Reimu messing around with mustaches is the best. Also really loving the style in the Lotus one - isn't the song by Hirasawa Susumu, though?

Possibly! There is (or was?) a fair lack of referencing in the description, so I ended up having to follow tags to do some guesswork. I'll take another look later on today.

I am slowly making my way through these. (Although, there has yet to be a day since its release that I haven't watch that "Just Dance" vid...)

I'm confused as to how some fit the categories, like "dot," but these are fun to watch.

MMD Cup uploaders have always done their absolute best to stretch the definitions as far as they can. It's nothing new, but I like to imagine the theme-specific tags are one guy just being incredibly annoyed at it.
