AC TIME
The AC meme takes a little explaining. In the wake of the tsunami, Japanese TV is currently broadcasting a lot of PSAs. Most notably, a slightly surreal one by AC Japan which instantly hit meme status. I can't hope to even begin to make a complete post on it, so I'm settling mostly for the Vocaloid contingent, but if you want to while away many days the AC tag is right here. There have been a million utattemitas and parodies; link your favorites in the comments and let's never ever get this out of our heads.

... whereas this ballad blew me away; an extended song full of pianos, violins, bells, some excellent soft Miku singing and a great choral 'AC'. Surprisingly moving with the video, too.

I linked AC Arrange last update, but here it is again to provide some context - onyuu, the guy behind Heart Sutra, decided to mash up the final 'AC' jingle of the advert, presumably in a nefarious attempt to force a takeover. Sadly, it didn't take off terribly well, but those remixes it did spawn are uniformly fantastic.

The addition of owata means a more lyrical, musical feel to the track, as piano and flutes kick on in and the whole thing is mellowed out a little.

One of my favorite remixes, this has a fantastic backbeat and greater power behind the track. Stompy club at its finest.

A brilliant intro leads into a thrashy rock version, with some absolutely fantastic drums and guitar scales. This PV then came along to just enhance the whole thing wonderfully.

Teto throws out a brilliant chiptune remix between the AC theme and this UTAU track. Possibly my favorite arrange mix, for the sheer energy and style behind it.
