Just getting some of the tracks from the last week out of the way before the inevitable Monday and Tuesday slew. My update schedule's a little off thanks to the Cup, but here's some from the past week-and-a-halfish. Lily took over this week thanks to the inevitable success awarded by a samfree eurobeat anthem.

...See. THIS. This is why I still have faith in hachi. This is rock, and hachi makes his atonal, chaotic sound WORK with it. That said, I can't watch the PV because those Miku and Gumi designs scare me. And the frantic speedup at the end helps with the creepypop feeling.

Machige's newest is... just so cheesily over the top in its attempts to be "creepy" that it's endearing and just makes me smile dorkishly. I bet that if I knew the translation to the lyrics, it'd be some really disturbing double-entendre yandere shit. (ALL GLORY TO THE MIKUTOAD)

ffffyes new awesomelen. Someone in the Nico comments brings up Across the Nightmare, and I have to agree - the guitar/drum work in this sounds a LOT like Ueko's. Not that that is a bad thing.

I actually don't think Matryoshka's PV is that creepy.
The "pinch me" faces are so cute!
The Miku "chu chu" smile and Gumi at the end, though... a little unsettling, I'll give you that.

Oh god that cover. Totally LOLed looking at the thumbnail, but damn if the tuning isn't awesome. And wow, it's surpassed Gumi and Lily's versions in number of views now? Though it's no surprise considering the quality...

I don't think I've been more impressed by a Hachi song than by this one. Maybe it's partly because I was really disappointed by Rinne, but this one's really good nonetheless.

Gachapoid sounds great in that cover, actually. I might actually become interested in it genuinely for its voice regardless of the concept...
