The interaction between Billy and Bill is priceless. But something about the way he’d seen the boy care for Laura all these months wouldn’t allow him to do anything to her without his knowledge, if not consent. -- THIS. :D

I love this so much. It feels very right for Bill and Billy to each see their different love for Laura in each other like this. Very painful last moments, and so realistic. I loved Bill feeling that he needed Billy's agreement on this.

That last morpha injection...wow. That was a killer. Well-done :-)

Thanks so much! And yes, I think Bill would have respected Billy for caring for Laura the way he couldn't yet at that point in their relationship and Billy...just would have wanted to be protective. As usual. :)

It's good to hear that this wasn't over the top because I was concerned it might read that way. (New to the fanfic world and was surprised I'd never seen the awful reality of what would have been that final day -- or what actually happened on Colonial One when she collapsed in Epiphanies and was rushed to Galactica -- done in fic I've read and I almost feared it was taboo or something!)
