A/N: Ok, I the author fully admit this isn't really in character for Laura, especially at this point in canon, but this PWP is what she and Kara wanted to do during my conference

Kara's right. Blame Laura. Except the poor woman's so touch-deprived, you can't really blame her.

But damn. Kara AND Lee in one afternoon? Woman's got some mad skilz.

And as impressed as I am by those skills, I'm still giggling like a madwoman at Kara's thoughts.

I was trying to get at something here about Kara and Laura that I've always been drawn to which is Kara's frailty despite her physical strength and Laura's immense internal strength despite her physically weak body. My attraction to Kara/Laura is always that I think Kara would be almost undone by the shared nature of being characterized one way but emotionally being something else and, I think, she'd want to learn to reconcile it in the way she thinks Laura does. But Kara being Kara, she'd probably be best able to learn the lesson through sex. What do you think about those thoughts, Kara expert?

I'm glad this came off as funny because, um, I couldn't take it any other way! In my mind it's totally leading up to Laura/Lee/Kara in some yet unwritten sequel.

Kara's strong inside, but she doesn't think she is, which makes her emotionally vulnerable, which she just basically refuses to acknowledge. Ever. Not that she's got Laura's spine of steel. She's not strong that way. Kara does break down, and she uses her volatility to cover it up.

Most definitely, if someone were to get Kara to grok it, it would be through the use of sex, or the withholding of it.

And yes. There would have to be an unwritten sequel where Kara all casually comes in on them (knowing perfectly well what they're doing) and Laura, quoting her from earlier, tells her to join in or go frak herself behind a bush. "But if you could kindly remove the stick from Apollo's ass first..." lmao

I am so glad I work from home because I am laughing aloud, literally.

This was the perfect panacea to soothe my heart after reading the Billy Keikeya fic. :)

I love the humor, the characterizations or Laura, Kara, and Apollo, and of course, Laura having awesome moves. Kara mentally calling her "Laura" for just the duration of their frak was awesome. Immediately, she was back to Madame President again. Hilarious.

And you leave our imaginations in such a primed state too... :)

I'm glad you could create this during your conference call! I guess you weren't on screenshare or video chat!

OMGs! I love this so much. Their banter and humor, and the shared fantasy of Laura/Kara/Lee. Laura's insistence on cuddling after, and their lie to Lee are all so very awesome.

Also, I request a sequel in which Laura helps Lee get the stick out of his ass, at least long enough for a frak.
