I understand your points, but the Banks Working Group is not 3CDC. Not that there aren't some valid complaints of 3CDC's efforts, but it's irresponsible (and takes away from the effectiveness of your argument) to blame 3CDC for this one.

It is my understanding that the three purviews of 3CDC are Over-the-Rhine, Fountain Square, and The Banks, so the Banks Working Group (the 5 white guys + 2) are tied to 3CDC, although appointed by the Mayor.

I live in OTR, so I made it a point to attend the Washington Park meetings.

Look, this isn't a tit for tat- I'm simply commenting that "community engagement" all over Cincinnati, and especially with "downtown development" (used loose) is clumsy, and perhaps left until last to do. My commentary urges a more thoughtful and considerate approach.
