Ok, I do have to say this. I think some of these things are blatantly racist and some of them are Republicans doing the same ol' same ol'. Michael Moore's movie talks about a lot of the false registration issues and such. I'm not saying that it's not *worse* because of people's strong racism issues. However, the whole terrorist thing disgusts me. Esp coming from the McCain/Palin campaign.

Did you hear about her campaign of "Obama's different, he doesn't think like good Americans like you and me"?

It does remind me of how privileged I am though. And it makes me recognize more wholly why my parents left Louisiana so quickly (for fear that the racism around them would infect their children).

I agree with you on that point. When I looked into it a bit further it became clear that these campaigns tend to go that way in the South, at least in the past few. I guess that I didn't differentiate because they all seem to be singling out minorities to attack and race seems to be the focal point, even of the door-to-doors.
