My research assistant got hit by a car while biking (hit and run) that resulted in breaking his arm, then got swine flu and went home to NC early instead of finishing the work. So I had to pull long hours before leaving for MN to get part of that done

Ugh, why does fiberglass exist? I remember sitting on BENCHES made with fiberglass at the POOL. wtf? That was some horribleness whoever thought to buy those.

Is Pip Phil... what/who is his appt with? I wish I knew more of the story and could help (though I doubt knowing the story would equal being able to help...). MN sounds awesome, as does your dog. Hope your return is awesome as well.

Yeah, I've called him Pip forever, sry. So he needs to meet with the neurosurgeons again. When they did a higher contract CAT scan they decided that the aneurysm they saw (outpouching) was not actually that. No word on how any of his symtoms came to be. He saw them in...June? And they set his next appt (the secretaries) for November, even though the docs seemed concerned last they saw him and told him not to lose any more weight (which he didn't mention 'til I noticed) and don't seem to have any idea what's going on. I bother him every day to move his appt and he simply refuses. I think he's afraid of finding out, or the lumbar puncture I assume is coming next, or...? But he is not getting better, that's for sure. I wish I could call them and just tell them to move it up.
