oh, this was sad..... i don't read non-con but since it had maya/sylar, i was tempted. Sylar is such a jerk in this, I don't think they ever will redeem him on the show....he's too far gone, i think

Interesting, because this is rejection. I'm wondering if he enjoys it, so it gives him a reason and a punishment, at the same time.

"He wants to die, Maya realizes. Oh God, he wants to die...."

Amazing addition. And the end of course. The end is perfect. I love how you gave Sylar so many dimensions in this fiction. <3

Thank you! Yeah, it is total rejection--and in my mind, he's acting out because he's hurt, which doesn't excuse ANYTHING, but yeah. It's just like Sylar's serial killing....I see it as coming from a very insecure and vulnerable space, even if what he does is awful.

It's a horrible thing, I guess. It's egocentric, and that's probably why it does hurt so much. Quite a trap, and in canon as well, I don't see it ending well...

This is creepy as fuck. Oh Jesus. Poor Maya. :( I feel guilty for reading hints of Mylar into it at the end. *facepalm* Still, this is very well-written - it certainly packs an emotional punch, and you even had me grudgingly feeling the tiniest amount of sympathy for Sylar, the way you portrayed his mind as so broken.

Thank you! That was totally what I was going for--that all the horrible things Sylar does comes from a place of deep-seated insecurity. I mean, he's a serial killer, and yet during The Hard Part, all I wanted to do was give him a hug, lol :)
