As no one has offered any opinions on what I should be for Halloween, I thought I would ask a different question. I've played a couple guys in plays, but more because we needed the character(s) and I was the only person left. Show must go on, so I ended up "male". I've never cross-dressed for Halloween. I've never cosplayed for the sake of cosplay, but I can maybe see myself playing a male character if I ever do. (For the record, I identify as a straight woman.)

We don't really celebrate down here, or at least we didn't up until the last five years or so. I love dressing up, but somehow that never translates into costumes as no one I know does Halloween parties.

I love putting on make up, elaborate costumes, I don't see that translating very well into crossdressing. There was this one time I thought about going to a party as God, as in Oz in Buffy wearing that "Hi, my name is ___God__" name tag, but that party didn't happen and there's the huge question of whether God is male or female, both or neither.

i was robin hood for halloween in elementary school, and i wore a grey pinstripe suit + fedora to one of the cowell dances (drag style, not woman in a suit style).
