Hooray for Saturdays: movie, TMBG TV

Today is Saturday. Alas, it rained all day. Mostly I was asleep. But we are going to go see the Hitchhiker's movie at 10, which should be fun. I know I may not look like much of a fan now, but I have a tape of the bad miniseries somewhere, and I bought the Infocom text adventure of it. (Starship Titanic was fun too. I have Starship Titanic for mac somewhere (not text adventure, though). It was very hard. There was a parrot with Terry Jones' voice who wouldn't shut up.

I agree with you about the new album. Some of the songs are okay, but man, it's just all letters.

It's sort of like text adventure in my head, 'cause you had to talk to the robots. I know the only text adventures Douglas Adams did were Hitchhiker's and Bureaucracy, which was also fun. I don't think I ever managed to finish Starship Titanic, though.

Yeah, the ABC album is kind of disappointing. I thought that it wouldn't be so much about letters, like how the State Songs album wasn't really about states. But it was, alas.
