Today being Friday, lysimache and I thought it would be a good idea to go out for the evening. We actually had originally intended to see Dar Williams, who was playing downtown tonight, but the cheapest tickets were $30, and that was a little on the expensive side. Plus, we saw Dar this summer in King of Prussia already

Hi! I found you through lysimache, whom, in turn, I found through valley_slash, and you both seem like fun and interesting new local people, so I hope you don't mind me friending you.

Dar is indeed very cute. I was going to go to the signing, but ended up being lazy and staying home instead because 1) it was raining and 2) I didn't actually want to buy the book myself (I borrowed it from someone else and read it recently), and I figured there would be lots of other people there with books in hand. So now I feel kinda bad that it was actually almost empty.

Anyway! I really just wanted to stop by and say hi and welcome to Northampton. *waves*

Hi. :) No, I certainly don't mind being friended. Yay, new friends! I actually also just joined valley_slash, and I am pondering delurking, though I share most of my fandoms with lysimache and she's already posted.

I didn't know how long of lines to expect at the signing; maybe this was normal, what with the rain and the signing not being that well-advertised. So don't feel bad. And, hey, maybe bunches of people showed up after we left. And Dar will probably be back sometime. And, yes, Dar is very very cute.
