So Saturday night David got a call from Jack in hysterics saying he was scared, and that his mom had bunched him and was drunk. David left immediately and called our house line and left the line open when he got there

It sounds as though she has done a great deal toward getting the kids taken away from her completely. This needed to to happen and it's good the police were involved so it's all documented.
