Okay, I am REALLY nervous posting this one! As you know, the last chapter ended with yet ANOTHER cliffhanger, and while this one doesn't exactly pick up right where the last one left off, it does tie everything up in a neat little package and ends on what-I-hope, is a high note!  This is the last of my eight-part series, and I just want to thank

Great ending Sindee! I really liked how you skipped ahead in time and let us know how everybody was doing, then explained Dr S's theory about what happened that night. Nice to see Mike and Coreen enjoying happy futures, and of course I'm thrilled that Henry and Vicki get to be together forever. The little silvery-gray highlights in Henry's hair were a cute touch--I bet they make him look even hotter than he did before, if that's possible!

Yay, thank you!! Y'know, this is actually like the third version of the ending? I wound up tossing the first two cuz they just didn't quite end up all happily ever after (one had Mike married to Kate for twelve years with no kids and a bunch of cats--don't look @ me, I don't know where it came from either--but I trashed it thank goodness!). I always did want Henry and Vicki to wind up together, and the whole partial transfer of life force made it possible, w/o the territorial issues of being turned (gotta thank the muse for that one). Plus the gray highlights--I was watching FFC's version of Dracula, and that scene where KR's hair turns white from his ordeal inspired that little snippet :)
